Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is known for her roles as the main character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action-spy thriller) and Precious (a drama). The majority of her childhood was spent in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. The mother of her children was a film buff and instilled an interest in films in her daughter. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school and enjoyed drama. Paula was a fantastic actor and loved performing with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the setting for many school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was part of at the University of Southern Calif's summer program, and enjoyed it immensely. She won an award for a PBS project for three months to shoot documentaries. When she was successful in completing the project, she started working as an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. After that, she started producing documentaries. The work was enjoyable however, she always wanted to be an actor. She launched her acting career through a role as a support in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a number of popular films and television shows.
