Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able perform, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is the "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother's work. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at an Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her husband in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism by then, and Seth Cooperman were wed in the month of December in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's relationship with a sex partner, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the most popular TV Couples. E! named the pair "the best TV Couple" in 2013.
